Blaylock Gasket & Packing stocks an extensive inventory of sheet rubber to meet all of your sealing requirements.  With thickness ranges from 1/64” to 1” in a full range of compounds we can solve any sheet rubber requirements you have.  Our complete inventory includes general purpose sheeting and specialty sheet for the most severe applications. 

Sheet rubber can be purchased in sheets, rolls, or we can supply your parts professionally produced from print to complete part meeting your delivery requirements.

Commercial Grade Neoprene Sheet

A black neoprene (Chloroprene) blended sheet that provides moderate oil, weather, and oxidation and sunlight resistance.  This material is an economical product that can be used for bumpers, pads, and in sealing general gasket applications.  Normally a smooth plate finish this material can also be special ordered in a fabric finish.  This material meets ASTM D-2000 specifications.  Material is stocked in thickness from 1/32” to 1” thick.

Food Grade – White FDA Sheet

A long-life white nitrile sheet made with FDA approved ingredients for use in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic processing for general gasketing, countertops and skirting.  This sheet is non-toxic, non-marking and non-allergenic with good abrasion resistance and handles oily and greasy foods products well.  White FDA sheet meets ASTM D-2000-2BF-615-E034 specification.

Commercial Grade Nitrile Sheet (Buna N)

Nitrile (Buna N) is a black plate finish sheet primarily used for applications where resistance to oils, solvents and fuels is required.  This material is designed to meet ASTM D-2000-BF specifications.  Higher grade materials including Mil specification are available.  Please call us if you have any questions or concerns which grade of material to use for more details.

Commercial EPDM – Ozone Resistant Sheet

EPDM is a black plate finish sheet with superior resistance to weathering, ozone and UV exposure.  EPDM also provides excellent chemical resistance*, and good electrical properties.  EPDM resists animal and vegetable oils, steam, water and oxygenated solvents.  This material meets ASTM D-2000-2BA specifications. 

High grade material including Mil-specification is available. 

EPDM is also available in a white FDA approved sheet.

Silicone

Commercial Grade Silicone

is designed to be used in applications where physical properties are not critical but extreme temperature resistance is still needed.  This material can be manufactured in a variety of colors and hardness with the most common colors being red, gray, black and white.  Commercial silicone is an excellent gasketing material that has extreme high and low temperature resistance.  This material is non-toxic, chemically inert and fungus resistant.

Specification Grade Silicone (FDA approved ingredients)

is a general purpose silicone sheeting designed to meet very common specifications used for silicone rubber.  It is a cost effective grade material with all the attributes of commercial grade silicone including high and low temperature ranges.  All FDA approved ingredients

White FDA Silicone

is common in applications where food or pharmaceuticals are present.  This material is low volatile, peroxide free and does not discolor over time.  The material used to make this product is listed in CFR 177.2600.  This regulation deals with rubber articles intended for repeated contact with food.  This material is ozone and UV resistant and is an excellent gasketing material.  Custom colors are available.  Call us for more details.
